Activated at sale. The certificate is issued with the watch and activated when the watch is sold. The server records the registration date.
Checking a certificate requires no login, no application and no registration. The register holds no customer name, no address and no e-mail. The record attests an object. It does not describe a person.
Independent registry. The record lives in SerialProof rather than inside a customer account or a maison app.
No app. No account. The certificate is opened by the physical card or its Certificate ID.
Swiss-hosted. Registry infrastructure is hosted in Switzerland.
No expiry date. An issued SerialProof record has no expiry date and requires no annual renewal or storage subscription.
Registration. The activation date is recorded by the server and becomes the start of the guarantee record.
Guarantee. SerialProof records the guarantee dates. The maison remains the guarantor.
Service history. Service and warranty-repair events can be added to the individual registry record over time. At resale. The next custodian can inspect the certificate and its history without creating an account.
